Lega A Italy

The Serie A is the highest tier of the Italian basketball league system, organised since 1920. It is run by the Lega Basket A and regulated by the Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro. There are currently eighteen teams in Serie A. Its top-tier competitions include the Serie A and the Superleague. Read on to find out more. This article describes the league’s structure.

The Northern League is the most extreme right-wing political party in Italy. It was founded in 1991 by Umberto Bossi. It was led by Roberto Maroni until 2013, when Salvini became its leader and heightened anti-immigrant sentiment. In 2014, the Northern League formed a coalition with the Five Star Movement, led by comedian Beppe Grillo, and the Democratic Party. Both parties support the same policies and are in a coalition with the League.

Lega’s radical-right message propelled it to the forefront of the right-wing alliance. In just one election, it went from 4% to 18% of the vote, surpassing Silvio Berlusconi’s party in the process. The coalition with the Five Star Movement, a populist party led by comedian Beppe Grillo, is an example of how the party has gained ground in Italy. However, the Five Star message is much more nationalistic than Lega’s, making them an unlikely candidate for government.

The Lega is a junior partner in the Five Star alliance and has fewer seats in parliament. Founder Giovanni Di Maio has stepped aside from electoral politics, and delegates the running of the party to Salvini, a politician with five years of experience. The party’s popularity is based on a strong reputation for social reforms. It is worth noting that Lega has a much lower profile than the Five Star coalition.
